Following the inputs and the exchange “not ready/nicht bereit” by the international artists’ network The Embassy & Guests, and in advance of the guest performance “Songs of (In)security” from Chemnitz, the topic of “Militarization, Security, and Culture” will be continued in a discussion at FFT in Düsseldorf.
Sociologist Teresa Koloma Beck and other guests will discuss the current public debate in Germany surrounding militarization and rearmament in relation to longer-standing tendencies of “securitization.”
