Spatial Access
The event is taking place at TanzFaktur Köln. The main building, which includes the foyer, auditorium, studios, atrium and basement, is accessible via a lift. We recommend using the lift with an accompanying person. Please feel free to speak to us on site.
There is an accessible toilet in the main building. It is wheelchair-accessible and equipped with an emergency call system with a pull cord.
An accessible toilet in the basement is accessible via the lift. This is also suitable for electric wheelchairs and features grab rails, a height-adjustable washbasin, an emergency call unit with a pull cord and a tilting mirror. A treatment couch is not available.
Accessible travel
Distance to the “Köln Poller Kirchweg” tram stop: approx. 280 metres. The stop is at ground level with a ramp.
A limited number of free parking spaces are available directly at the building. Parking is also available in public areas and in nearby car parks, e.g. at Rheinauhafen (approx. 10–15 minutes / around 1 km / clearance height 1.90 m / disabled parking spaces available).
Audience Situation
In the courtyard and in front of the Tanzfaktur, there are various seating options, including benches, chairs, beanbags and loungers. The bar will be accessible at different heights.
Information for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Visitors
A DGS interpreter will be present during the party.
We will provide brighter lighting in several areas to ensure that sign language remains clearly visible.
Drinks menus are available in printed form at the bar to make ordering straightforward.
The music will have strong bass but will not be excessively loud overall.
Information for blind and visually impaired people
Upon registration, we offer a pick-up service to and from public transport. You can register at barrierefreiheit@impulsefestival.de. We will get back to you and sort out all the details easily by phone or via Messenger.
A tactile floor guidance system leads to key areas
Different areas of the venue are clearly marked and signposted.
Bar staff are happy to read out or summarise the drinks menu on site.

Awareness & Community
The event is based on a Code of Conduct that is guided by non-discriminatory and accessible event concepts.
Every evening, one member of the festival team also acts as a care person. They can be identified by pink, round fabric patches on their back. Colleagues at the ticket desk or on evening duty can also contact the care person.

Tickets
Attendance at the party is free of charge.
For festival tickets, you may claim the reduced price at your own discretion; admission is free for one accompanying person. To obtain a free ticket for a companion, please use the code BEGLEITUNG when booking; please select this in your shopping basket. Please decide for yourself what price you are able and willing to pay.
